Sephiria Wisdom Talent: MP, Stacking and Rerolls
Wisdom is the economy tree. Its per-point line is MP regeneration, which sets who can afford it, but the three breakpoints are about what the game offers you rather than what you can cast — and the middle one is the single most misquoted mechanic in Sephiria.

The three breakpoints
| Points spent | What arrives |
|---|---|
| 5 | +5 MP Steal and +10 maximum MP |
| 10 | [Unique] Stacking, and one die on every boss kill |
| 20 | One free reroll on every reward, and +20% experience |
Level 10 is not "+2 combo"
The combo effects page holds the full record, and it is worth reading in order rather than summarised. Before patch 0.10.14, the level 10 text said artifacts are forced to have a unique effect, duplicates combine and raise the artifact's level by one, and you gain a die on boss kill. Patch 0.10.14 added a line stating the combined artifact increases the combo by two times. Then two qualifications landed: in 0.10.16 the developer said the doubling had been planned for combo-change artifacts as well but was on hold for technical reasons, so Chalcedony Key and White Paper do not get it — and the interface had been wrongly displaying that they did. The current in-game framing is [Unique] Stacking: duplicates get offered, and taking one adds a star to the copy you already hold.
The common misconceptions page and the artifacts and tablets page both carry the correction, because the shorthand survives on auto-generated wikis that predate both qualifications. The practical version: level 10 does not add two to a combo counter. It changes what a duplicate offer is.
The co-op consequence people report as a bug
The co-op page records a specific downstream effect that gets filed wrongly. In multiplayer, duplicate items failing to merge is frequently reported as a bug. It is not — duplicates merge and upgrade only for players who have taken level 10. Without it, two copies stay two items, by design. If you are the player in a party whose duplicates are not combining, the difference is in your talent screen, not in the netcode.
What level 20 buys, and what it stacks with
A free reroll on every reward is a compounding effect rather than a stat. The Destiny Inscription already sells the dice economy this sits on top of — Dice (1)(2)(3) taking you to six starting dice, Dice Acquisition for two more on a boss kill, Dice Transformation for one when you skip a reward — and level 10's own die per boss kill feeds the same pool. Twenty points here is the version of the run where you usually get the offer you wanted rather than the one that appeared.
It also pairs against a specific Hard Mode modifier. Dizziness removes one or two choices when you obtain artifacts and tablets, for two levels and four tiers, and the Hard Mode page calls it disproportionately painful precisely because it attacks the build system rather than your health bar. A free reroll per reward does not restore the removed options, but it is the only documented effect in the talent list that pushes in the opposite direction.
The +20% experience on the same breakpoint has a second-order value worth noting: the Destiny Inscription's Level Up Restoration node restores health on level-up, so faster levelling is also more healing on routes that bought it.
Who actually needs the per-point line
MP regeneration is a build filter. The Destiny Inscription's own MP Regeneration node gives +3 then +6, which is the baseline every build has access to; twenty talent points on top of that is a different order of commitment and only pays on kits that spend MP continuously.
Two published spreads illustrate the boundary. The Burning Fang fire dagger build lists an alternative that swaps twenty points of crit for twenty points of Wisdom, specifically when repeated casts drain the bag faster than fights end — a conditional swap, not a default. The sword & shield page records two early-access routes that both put spare points into MP regeneration and defence, and one that suggests this tree because its key artifact needs a high required level of 9. The boss preparation checklist gives the same tree a defensive justification: keeping enough MP for the Smokescreen spellbook is a dodge when a dash is not available.
Not confirmed
The +5 MP Steal figure at level 5 has no stated unit in this repo — whether it is MP per hit, a percentage, or something else is not documented. Nor is there any source stating how the level 20 free reroll interacts with dice-purchased rerolls, or whether the reroll applies to weapon, item and Miracle offers equally. The talents page prints the same breakpoint text without resolving either question, and the talent planner reproduces it verbatim rather than expanding it.
