Sephiria Bosses: All 13, Chapter by Chapter
Who occupies which floor, and how that changes as the story advances.
Sephiria Boss Preparation: The Pre-Boss-Room Checklist
A Sephiria boss-room checklist from documented clears: why floors 1–3 lose tier 50 runs, the shop and training doll, 500 Leaf for Colin, MP for Smokescreen.
Sephiria Bosses: Every Boss by Floor and Chapter
Every Sephiria boss and mini-boss mapped to its floor and chapter, from Mogdi on floor 1 through Askard and Kraz to the three-form Qliphoth in Chapter 6.
Sephiria Final Boss & Endings: Chapter 6, Then What
How to build a run for Sephiria's three-form Qliphoth finale, what patch 1.0.21 changed, which endings exist, and what unlocks after the credits roll.
The floors stay, the bosses change
Sephiria does not add floors as you progress. Floor 1 is always the Mole Stronghold. What changes is who is standing at the end of it — Mogdi holds it in Chapter 1, Odner from Chapter 2, Haz from Chapter 4.
That single design decision is why "which boss is on floor 2" has no single answer, and why a boss list that ignores chapters is worse than useless. Everything in this section is mapped to both a floor and a chapter. The finale gets its own page — how to build a run for the three-form Qliphoth fight, and what the endings and post-game actually contain.
Use the achievement rates as a difficulty curve
Steam's global unlock percentages are the cleanest public measure of where Sephiria's walls are, and they double as a spoiler-free progress check:
- Mole Chief — 89.7% of all players
- Pillager Leader — 84.8%
- Mad Scientist — 76.3%
- Guardian of the Library — 50.6%
- Mind-Eater Root — 34.1%
- Qliphoth — 26.1%
- Complete the game — 14.5%
The steepest drop sits between the Mad Scientist and the Guardian of the Library, which is also where base enemy Defence jumps from 46 to 66. If your runs keep ending there, the bottleneck is usually artifact levels rather than reflexes.
Two achievements expire
Because bosses are chapter-locked, advancing the story removes bosses permanently for that progression window.
Enlightened Scholar requires defeating Askard during Chapter 1. From Chapter 2 he is Mutated Askard; from Chapter 3, Askard's Phantom. Qliphoth Contractor requires Mutated Askard, which exists in Chapter 2 only.
Neither is difficult. Both are missable, and they are the most common gap in an otherwise complete achievement list.
Preparing for a boss is a build question
The practical preparation for any Sephiria boss has almost nothing to do with the boss. Runs fail at chapter boundaries because the build is half-committed in two directions.
Three checks before you push a new chapter: your weapon is at max tier for its tree, your core artifacts are actually at level rather than merely present, and at least two combos are past their activation threshold. A run that satisfies all three usually clears the boundary; one that satisfies two usually does not.
Why we do not publish attack patterns
Nothing in the public record documents Sephiria movesets reliably. TEAM HORAY has not published them, and the community write-ups that exist disagree with each other on phase counts.
A wrong tell is worse than no information — it sends you into a fight prepared for the wrong thing and costs you the run you were being careful with. What we do publish is every boss tuning change TEAM HORAY has written down, because that is verifiable and it tells you which fights got easier.
Names, spelled correctly
Auto-generated wikis have propagated a set of corrupted boss names. The forms that appear in TEAM HORAY's own patch notes and achievement text are Odner (not Ordner), Haz (not Haj), Rataka (not Lataka), Pentaxis (not Pantaxis) and Kovess (not Cobes).
